The Faculty of Physics also participates in the Austrian-wide “Lange Nacht der Forschung” (LNF), where scientists of the faculty provide an insight into science for a public audience.

Young scientists of the CoQuS programme and the VCQ showcased hands-on demonstrative experiments and poster presentations especially designed for the occasion and used videos and interactive simulations to inspire the 1,450 visitors, who wanted to learn more about modern research in quantum physics.
